Rep. Meuser brought attention to a federal grant awarded to Bloomsburg University by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) through the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA). The grant will go toward funding research relating to drug use, chronic stress, and relapse vulnerability.
The Congressman expressed that this is an important step in helping those who abuse drugs. He also said this would be a win for improving the health and safety of those in the Commonwealth.
